  1. The force introduced a new appointments system in January inviting victims and witnesses to book 'surgery' appointments at police stations across the county. Feedback from those that have used the new system have been positive, but we want to give you the chance to have your say. The intention is to make the service as flexible as possible to meet the needs of the public while reducing the amount of hours officers and staff spend travelling between jobs. Therefore if it was appropriate would you be willing to attend a 'surgery'appointment at a time convenient to you at your local station or would you still prefer to wait for a home visit? For more information on surgery appointments please view the website's 'contact us' page and click on the 'make an appointment' link.
  2. Cambridgeshire Police Authority engages with the public each year to help inform the setting of priorities for policing. This also includes identifying a single People's Policing Priority to ensure the police respond to a problem that is particularly important to the public of Cambridgeshire. This year anti-social behaviour, with an emphasis on speeding and parking outside schools, was supported by members of the public. Have we got this right?
  3. The views of local people and businesses are very important to Cambridgeshire Constabulary. We believe that we should listen as much as we speak. We have used methods such as ecops, our website, beat meetings, Neighbourhood Panels and forums for some time, but do they work for you or is there a better way for us to talk to and listen to you?
  4. If you were the victim of or witness to a crime requiring a Police officer / investigator to visit you at your place of work or home address, would you prefer that officer to be in uniform or plain clothes? Have your say. Please provide a rationale for your preference.
  5. How would you prefer to report information about criminal or suspicious activity in your area? We want to know as part of an ongoing review to improve the way the force receives and uses information (intelligence). Would you prefer to call, email or use the anonymous Crimestoppers service? Have your say.
  6. The force has identified a number of police officers in non-frontline posts, such as training and call handling. As part of its change management programme Op ReDesign is considering putting these officers back to the frontline. Have your say.
