  • We offer a salary range of £16,689 to £18,507 and progression through the scale is on an incremental basis. In addition a shift allowance is payable in recompense of unsociable hours working, plus enhanced hours payment for weekend and public holiday working. This is based on a 37 hour week.

  • PCSO’s receive 23 days annual leave entitlement, rising to 28 days after 5 years service.

  • The pension for PCSO’s is the Local Government Final Salary Pension Scheme. Deductions equate to 6% of your salary towards pension payments. All recruits will automatically be put into the scheme unless you ‘opt out’ on appointment.
