Once you have completed the form(s) they should be returned to Cambridgeshire Constabulary Firearms & Explosives Licensing Department, Police Headquarters, Hinchingbrooke Park, Huntingdon, Cambs, PE29 6NP.

If you need help deciding which form(s) you need, contact the Firearms & Explosives Licensing Department. Once the completed forms together with the correct number of photographs and fee have been received, checks will be made on local and national records before you are visited at home, at a time convenient to you, by a firearms enquiry officer.

Firearms Certificates

You will need to complete Firearms Form 101 if you wish to apply to Cambridgeshire Constabulary for a new firearm certificate, or the renewal or variation of an existing certificate.

Firearms Reference Form

You will need to supply two references as part of your application. Referees are required to complete a Reference Form 125 answering questions on your suitability and experience with firearms, which they then forward directly to the Firearms & Explosives Licensing Department. A reference should be given freely and not on payment.

Shotgun Certificates

You will need to complete a Firearms Form 103 if you wish to apply to Cambridgeshire Constabulary for the grant of a shotgun certificate, the renewal of an existing certificate or for a coterminous shotgun certificate (The idea of "coterminous" shotgun certificates, is to allow the holder of a firearms certificate, to have his shotgun certificate expire on the same day).

Explosives Certificates

You will need to complete Explosives Form COER/1 if you are a company, corporate body or Scottish partnership, to apply to Cambridgeshire Constabulary for the grant of an explosives certificate, or the renewal of an existing certificate.

If more than one person will have access to the explosives the Declaration of Persons Letter and Declaration of Persons Details will need to be completed.

You will need to complete Explosives Form COER/1A if you are an individual, to apply to Cambridgeshire Constabulary for the grant of an explosives certificate, or the renewal of an existing certificate.

The Manufacture and Storage of Explosives Regulations (MSER) 2005. You will need to complete MSER Application Form for Registration or License to store explosives under MSER 2005. A guidance document Guidance Notes for MSER is available to help you complete the MSER Registration or License application.

Visitors Permit

You will need to complete Firearms Form 107 to apply for a visitor's permit (for firearms or shotguns). The form is completed by a person, who is resident in Great Britain, on behalf of the visitor(s). Notification of Firearms and Shotguns Transactions

You will need to complete form Firearms Form CambsNFSGT to inform Cambridgeshire Constabulary of any firearms aquisitions or disposals (including the loss or theft of a weapon).

Land Authority

You will need to complete and submit Firearms Form CambsLA to grant permission to others to shoot on your land.
