Deleting internet pages

Photo of victimIf you are concerned about someone looking at your internet history (the websites and pages you have visited) you can delete the easily accessible history pages.
Please bear in mind that these methods of deleting internet pages are not foolproof, a computer expert may still be able to find out which website or pages you have been looking at.

If you are worried that your abuser could do this, use the internet at a library, an internet café, or a relative, friend or neighbours house.
The methods of deleting internet pages suggested here will delete your entire internet history.

Internet Explorer
From the toolbar at the top of the page select Tools, Internet Options. A dialog box will appear, select the General tab at the top. Under Temporary Internet files select Delete files. Under History click Clear History. (The red arrows on the picture show you where to click).

Netscape
Select the Edit menu and click on Preferences. Click on Navigator and choose Clear History. Click on Advanced. Select Cache, click on Clear Disk Cache.

AOL
Pull down the Members menu. Select Preferences. Click on www icon. Select Advance, click on Purge Cache.
