The Equality Act requires public bodies to publish information that demonstrates due regard to the need to:

• eliminate unlawful discrimination, harassment and victimisation and any other conduct prohibited by the Act
• advance equality of opportunity between people of protected characteristics and people who dont share it;
• and foster good relations between people who share a protected characteristics and people who do not share it.

The Equality Standard report contains information on a variety of constabulary wide initiatives and projects that demonstrate our commitment to equality and diversityand the Employment Monitoring report provides information on internal equality issues. The constabulary has not published equality data in relation to service provision at this time, as this area of business is currently being developed in line with the restructuring of services.
